Based in Montreal, Mathieu Elie has been a director of photography since 2003. Since the beginning of his career, Mathieu has worn many hats including director, producer and editor, all the while perfecting his craft as a director of photography. His experience with the various aspects of production enables him to react quickly to unforeseen events, to better serve the direction and editing, and to make the right technical and creative choices. After studying music videos, documentaries and television, he has put advertising and fiction at the center of his creation.
